After 10 games and a title winning season Stephen Cohen clinches the Top Goal Scorer title with 36 goals. Follow closely by Kyle Powell with 32 then John Alford with 22. This is the first Season a Bulletboys player other then the forwards to win the Top Goal Scorer title.
After clinching the Powerleague Sunday League trophy Bulletboys F.C. set their sights on this weeks match with Pearl Harbour where they could win their second title in a week.
However some concern has been raised in the camp over the goalscoring form of one Jamie Hutber, recently nick namned "Dry Spell" Hutber by an inside source. In over 150mins of Powerleague football in which the goals are extremely close he has not managed to hit the net.
Some questioned whether he could make the step up from the lower divisions where he notched an impressive goalscoring record.
Time will tell for the young man and if he does fail to score this Thursday he may well suffer taunting, abuse (possible physical) at the hands of his team mates as the team hoepfully head out to central London to celebrate thier second title...
A dislocated toe means bulletboys in form player is set to miss the rest of the season. The timing couldn't be worse with the world famous Hassocks 6-A-Side Brighton tournament on the 4th of august. Alistair was hitting the peak of his game with 15 assists in the last 5 games and 2 man of the match awards. He has been giving a guide line of 6-8 weeks but hopefully the defenders desire will bring him back earlier to see out the end of the season
After 14 games and 147 goals Bulletboys go into their last game of the Sunday season the current champions. With an impressive 12 wins out of 13 they win 4 points clear of the second placed Sparta.
28 degrees, 6 players, one dislocated toe were the conditions bulletboys had to deal with on the 4th of august. Yet they still showed the grit and skill to reach the semi finals only to be knocked out by 2 goals in 2 minutes of extra time. Bulletboys saw their top goal scorer increase his lead with 11 fantastic goals and 5 clean sheets from step-in keeper Alistair. Altogether 19 goals were scored and 5 goals conceded in 92 minutes of football. They beat last years champions St Francis, by 5 goals to 1.
Sunday the 1st of July will see the return of Bulletboys greatest Talisman. His return from a lengthy period away will see the full Bulletboys team reunited once again. Kyle will play against the inform team Real Macoys, who have won 7 of their last 9 games. With just 2 more goals needed to become Bulletboys all time greatest goal scorer.
Bulletboys saw the return of Kyle Powell today. Which also saw a historic day in the history of Bulletboys. A new all time top goal scorer. with 225 goals his name on his 70th appearance.
After 2 years out with a ACL (Cruciate ligament) tear Stephen Cohen finally is due to make his Bulletboys come back. The 21 year old will make his stake for a starting place on the 3rd. In time for the new season on the 10th of June.
